Samir Kumar, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta is also ex-IAS(allied) and has worked with ABN AMRO, Deutsche Bank and RBS in London, Tokyo and Singapore at senior positions.
Presently he is serving the nation by working on the mandate of building New India’s Public Broadcaster, as Head, Prasar Bharati News Services and Digital Platform.
Before this he was CEO of Hindusthan Samachar.
He is also National Award recipient for feature film production.
He is co-founder and advisor to many startups in the domains of Agriculture, HealthCare, Education, Media and IPR.
His recently published book “Unfolding intellectual Property Rights” is becoming reasonably popular.
